The Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) successfully hosted its 2026 Virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 22, 2026.
The meeting was convened by CAZOVA President, Mr. Mushtaque Mohammed, who highlighted the importance of collaboration, accountability, and continued volleyball development in the region. Remarks from the NORCECA President, Mr. Cristobal Hoffiz Marte reaffirmed NORCECA’s ongoing support for CAZOVA.
A quorum was confirmed by General Secretary, Ms. Jacqueline Cowan, allowing delegates to approve the minutes of the previous Congress, adopt the 2025 Annual Report, and approve the 2024/2025 Financial Statements.
Key reports were presented, including activity and development, beach volleyball, refereeing, and NORCECA updates. Discussions also outlined CAZOVA’s 2026 plans, with a focus on athlete development, officiating, beach volleyball growth, and strengthening member federations.
